Anyhooo, the photo above is the inspiration photo for Papertrey's August blog hop. I posted a card earlier today and I just had to try the technique again.

I took two things from the inspiration photo- the damask pattern in the suitcase and the pink flowers with the yellow centers (tossed in some black b/c I love pink and black.)
P.S. If you made a comment earlier today sorry I posted such a similar card again :-) But thank you!
I'm crushing on this and your last two posts! After seeing all your amazing creations I really am so inspired to give this technique a go!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteFun way to do this large flower!!! Pretty card!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty Susan! And sounds like you had a GREAT day!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you had such a fab day! This card is like the other: Absolutely gorgeous! Beautiful colored flower. I think I prefer this kind of coloring over the neat coloring!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the black touches of the ribbon and little dots! LOVE it!
Have another great day,
Jose
Love your card! The random coloring really gives it a punch!
ReplyDeleteNice job. Love how you colored the flower.
ReplyDeleteWell, of course I love this one the most! I really like your take on the technique. I realize it's supposed to be Avant Garde, but this is just the slightest bit neater ;)!
