Make It Monday #31: Creating Backgrounds With Non-background Stamps

A fun challenge today and it got me to use my very lonely Tea for Two too stamp set. I just LOVE that saying. I used the cup over and over to make the background. I then used some Kraft ink to make the white CS look a little older. The doily die has a simple chocolate circle CS in the middle and finally I used some chocolate bakers twine to weave in and out of the spaces on the die. I hope you are enjoying your day off (if you are in the US that is ;-)

Supplies all PTI: Tea for Two too, Fancy Flourishes, doily dies, baker's twine, Ink from SU-baha breeze, Crumb Cake, and Chocolate Chip, dimensionals.

  4. Your little doily is very cute with your lonely tea cups! Thanks for the heads up about the class. I sent them an email. Weird that they closed it when there wasn't a close date listed that I saw. Oh did you see the sneak peak today with the christmas photo stamps! I can't beleive we were just talking about that. Can't wait to see the entire stamp.
