Addition to my post- I had to make a 16th Birthday card so I used the challenge this week for her card. I made my spray mist with Raspberry Fizz & a pearl powder and then sprayed it on a light pink CS and embossed it with PTI Polka Dot Basics II Impression Plate. I just received my By The Numbers PP so I had to throw that in too. If you click on the photo and enlarge it you can see that I embossed the car with some glittery embossing powder to go with my spray Mist. Oh My! What a beautiful day in Iowa! It was an absolutely PERFECT day! So, I have to admit I made a couple of simple cards so I could get back outside and plant some more flowers.
I love that this Make it Monday taught me something new that I will use over and over again. YA! This is what I learned- slightly wet cardstock=deeper impression when using my impression plates. So excited!
So, I didn't have to make Spray Mist, I already some. ;-) It is a pearl mist that I used on both of these cards. Click on the photos to see them closer, it just makes a pretty pearl finish to each card. I am just so excited about the deep impression on both cards.

Simple, but lovely and elegant. Love the way you cut out the centre piece and placed the image to the back.
