I am really happy with how these cards turned out. The sayings are from various PTI sets and the stem is from Spiral Bouquet. The flowers are cut out of the white layer to show though to the PP in the second later. Finally, I used (a lot of) foam tape between the layers to give the card some dimension.

Papertrey Inc- Make It Monday #12: Line Frame 101
I had so much fun with this challenge! I was able to use a few of my favorite things (again)- PTI Distressed Dots PP, adhesive black pearls, and Beautiful Blooms II #3 dies. Besides, I love the line frame look and have made cards in the past with this technique.

PTI: April 2011 Blog Hop
I need a card next month for my nephew's 4th birthday so I thought Papertrey Inc.'s challenge to make a masculine card was perfect! Besides, it will be awesome that I will not be scrambling to make a card in a few weeks. Ya! I used PTI Banner Builder set and Big Birthday Wishes to create this card. I love the color combo and I normally would have not put them together, I just started playing around and these are the colors that I liked best. (Colors are from Stampin' Up! I wasn't fortunate enough to get PTI's ink before they were discontinued. Colors-Pacific Point, More Mustard, & Old Olive)

Make it Monday #11: Embossing with Dies
Again, click on the photo to see the image better, including the embossing. So sorry, I was away last week. My Mom, Sister, and I did a garage sale and it went very well despite the cold and rain that we had last weekend in Iowa. I was super exhausted after we were all done but I sold a lot and it was totally worth it. I used the bloom dies in the background. I hope you like it.
Supplies: all PTI- Beautiful Blooms stamp set and matching dies, Mat Stack & Turning a New Leaf Stamp Set, Aqua Mist, Raspberry Fizz, Orange Zest, Kraft CS, Snow White ink, Banner Dies.

Make it Monday #9: Heat Embossing
Hello! This make it Monday is all me! Love it! It is one of my favorite techniques, clear embossing with versa mark. Did I say, I love embossing and probably do it on 1 out of every 3 cards. It is so beautiful and easy. I used to think that it was a lot of work, crazy! I actually have a place for my heat gun all plugged in and ready to go on my desk. Also, I put all my embossing powders in small Tupperware containers so I don't have to mess with dumping the extra EP back into those little jars.
I wish I could have gotten a better photo but I tried everything. If you click on the photo, the details are much easier to see. Here are the details, I used the Lily of the Valley stamp set and then used my blender pen and white ink to color the flowers in. I used Lemon Tart paper on the left embossed with PTI Moroccan Motifs Impressions Plate and the right side is PTI Bitty Box PP. (Saying is from Big Bold Wishes & Banner die)
Eagle update: All 3 babies have hatched and they are adorable. I love to watch them stumble around the nest. http://www.ustream.tv/decoraheagles
