I found this great paper at Archivers Wednesday and I just couldn't wait to play with it. I wanted the paper to do all the work. It is a thick almost fabric feeling paper and I love it. I say it is new but it might just be new to me...... I used an Martha Stewart edge punch on the bottom with SU Bermuda Bay cardstock. The ribbon and stamp set is also Stampin Up. I really haven't sewed much on cards but my only advice to you is keep white thread in your sewing machine at all times and make sure your card is open and flat before you start sewing. Silly me I sewed my first card shut! AUGH! Have a great weekend!

Let's have tea!
I love the simplicity of this card! I have had this tea set for a while now and haven't done anything with it. The QuicKuts embossing folder is also new for me and I LOVE IT! I have used it a ton lately. Both stamp sets are Papertrey and the pattern paper, ribbon ,and Kraft CS are all from Stampin' Up! Hope you have time for tea today.
Teacher Appreciation!
My twins are in the same classroom and we love their teacher. She is fabulous! I am room Mom and wanted to do something nice for her. So last week was teacher appreciation week and this is what I made for her. The center of the flowers is photos of all 18 students and on the back of their flower the kids signed their name and I wrote what their favorite thing about Mrs. Upah is. Oh, and of course, Hersey chocolates on the bottom that they kids signed too. She loved it!

May is the month of weddings!
This is a crazy month for us, 3 weddings! Wow! At 35 years old, we really don't have many weddings to attend. But, making wedding cards has been a really nice (challenging) change. I used Stampin' Up! Bride and Groom paper, Papertrey's Big Bold wishes stamp set, satin ribbon and flower from SU and finally black pearls from ??.

You make me Smile!
You really do make my smile. I made this card a month or so ago for my friend Kriss. I love how it turned out. I found inspiration from several card and the colors are Kriss's favorite colors. I used two PTI stamp sets- Dot Spot and Signature Greetings, the colors are from SU- Gable Green, Melon Mambo, Basic Black and finally some circle punches and corner rounder.
I had a fabulous day with my girls on their school field trip. I hope your day was just as wonderful! Take care of you.

I finally did it!
Oh my gosh! I have been talking about this for a while! I am so happy with the way it turned out. I put these vinyl images up on the girls wall and they love it. I used both Cricut and Stampin' Up vinyl, and George Basic and Walk in My Garden cartridge (Cricut). The comforter on my daughters bed was from Target and was my inspiration. It feels good to check something major off my "To do" list.
